I've been looking at buying a 24 inch monitor took connect to my XPS 153, but have been waiting for the right deal.

I jumped on a deal about a day ago for the new ST240 for $213 with my 7 percent off epp.

Today I am looking and they now have the older version the 2409W for $185 with 7 percent epp.

Now is the ST240 better enough that I should cancel my order? (it has been shipped already by the way. Should be here in a day or so).

The major differences I see are the warranties also a lot of other technical stuff that I do not really understand

    2409W- 3 year Warranty, Contrast ratio 1000:1

ST240- One year warranty, contrast ratio 50000:1

What are my option in terms of returning the monitor will I get charged etc.
