Im thinking of getting this laptop, however is it safe to buy now, I mean, is there likely to be an update anytime soon? I know there was a very small processor bump a few weeks ago, the 2.0ghz T6400 to 2.1ghz T6500.

I'm thinking of getting the £399 model in that link with the 2.1ghz Core 2 duo, also, it has a WLED screen when you go the Dell configuration page.

The "Processor bump" won't make a difference to the computer.... you wont even notice it. The biggest "update" would be the OS. So really you can buy anytime and get the free Windows7 upgrade in October.
