I current have an xps m1330 the specs are in my sig. I plan on handing that down to my sister, because she about to go to college in a yr. Plus I am interested in the new studio xps 1340, but right now she has my old inspiron 9400/e1705 and I want some advice on how much i should sell it for I just bought a brand new palm rest and top and lcd bezel because the white trimming is scratched off & the palm rest has a little fading so it will look brand new at the time of sale. & Me nor my sister never had a problem with it. Its always been the fallback comp. when i have vista issues or doing a clean install and need 2 get drivers. But I was thinking around $700 the specs are below

    Inspiron E1705

    Windows XP Pro SP3
    17" WUXGA 1920x1200 resolution
    Intel Core 2 Duo T7400 2.16Ghz
    2GB DDR2 667 Ram
    250GB WD Hard Drive
    Intel 4965bgn Wireless
    Dell bluetooth 355
    256mb Nvidia 7900 GS

ask for a price check in the marketplace, but i believe 700 is overly optimistic, maybe on eBay? but definitely not around in the forums. i recently saw one with a 7950 gtx go for around 500
