    Hi,

The Canadian exchange rate is 1,035 vs US dollar.

The Vostro 1500 system I would like to buy is $1548 in Canada and $1300 in US.

Office Small business is $330 in Canada and $270 in US?????

If you buy a system in US It has to be shipped to a relative in US and then shipped to Canada. But if you do that and ask for a warranty problem, the warranty will NOT be honored. Strange policy: same system build one after the other in the same shop but one shipped in Canada directly and the other in 1 day transit in US and then shipped in Canada.

So what do we do with that. The sales department in Canada is saying that US and Canada is not the same market. So what. The Dell CEO is saying that the entire world is the market.

After that they are saying we have to had custom fees. There are no custom fees for DELL computer.

So I will wait and continue to compare Canadian and US prices

    Hi nizzy1115,

I do not agree with that. Dell.ca is using the US plattform for almost all services except for French Canadians.

On paper it can looks like to different companies but in fact, the payment is going directly in the US.

By the way what are your comments on your Vostro?
