Why is the Samsung 1280x800 considered so grainy? I see no real problem with it, I see many people getting annoyed at this "issue" and I don't understand it.
Also, if I do have a change of heart, how would I go about replacing the screen? I hear that the LG screen is much better than the SEC screen, I am wondering how much better it actually is.

I think most of the people having a issue with the Samsung screen are people who have the WSXGA+ (1680 x 1050). I'm not sure about the 1280 x 800 screens.
If you want it replaced, you need to call tech support or customer service. -
Resolution can be all the difference... -
I think most screen complaints are focused on Samsung WXGA+ [1440x900] screens. I don't hear much complaints on WXGA screens. I did get an LG, which is fantastic even before I knew it was an LG. lol

I got a Samsung SEC 3350 in my 1520... its the 1280x800 variant, I had it replaced with something else.. I'm hoping its an LG lol.
