    Hi everyone....

The little things that hold the screen up in my Inspiron 8000 have broken, making the screen have no resistance (i.e., i have to prop it up).

I don't want to spend much money but i was wondering if anyone knows where to get some new ones cheap - like is there a repository of old Inspiron 8000s that are sold for parts anywhere?

Alternatively, if anyone's come up with a clever way to jury rig it so that the screen has resistance and stays in place, that'd be cool too.

    Thanks!

If you can find the part number, ebay is worth a look.
