Apparently, when I turned my laptop on, every time I turn on my laptop screen now, this happens:

Dell Inspiron 1520 - Red Bleeding Screen? - YouTube

Please look at the video and tell me what you think might be wrong.

I took a picture with my iPhone. I don't think it should be a screen issue, as I just bought the screen this past June (2011). I'm not sure why I am getting this error.

But can someone tell me if this is a screen issue or a video card error?

    I have a OEM 1920x1200 Matte Screen w/a 256MB nVIDIA 8600M GT.

Is it actually moving randomly like it shows in the video?

What about on an external monitor?

It worked fine on an external monitor so I suppose it's the screen. I had another question, do you think a 1525 screen would fit in the 1520? I found one that is the size I want (WUXGA Matte) for $90 but the ones on amazon are almost $195 for the one I want.

1525 should work, but why not try something from the same generation. D830 screen should work. 1520 has a funky LVDS cable. Commander Wolf is probably best person to ask.

Merely it was a video chips problem. Try someone knows how to re-flow your video chips.
