    Screen for XPS 1530 and processor choice ???

    How compare the LCD regular versus LED on the XPS 1530 for both high def
    1440x900. Is there a size and weight difference as for the xps 1330 ???

    Cuz I have the money to update the processor or the screen not both:

    T5850 + LED

    or

    T8100 + 1st screen update to 1440x900 glossy

    ????

    I wouldn't consider the xps 1330 (and yes there is a difference, but not drastic).

    Depends on what you plan to do with the laptop. This is a topic about the two processors you are specifically talking about.. http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=275591
    *the T8100 is more powerful-but, I have the LED screen and it is amazing.

    *If you have to choose, go functionality with the processor and don't get the screen.

    Actually I want the xps 1530 for the graphic card 8600 GT...

    And does the size change from regular to LED ???

    *(that was my reason for the 1530 also), if you are talking about screen size, then no the LED and traditional LCD laptops..

    As long as it is WXGA+ its 1400 x 900

    I was talking about the laptop size since the LED is usually smaller and lighter ??

    No, the size of the laptop remains same for the XPS M1530, BUT it is 100 grams lighter and the colors are more bright, crisp, contrasty, and vibrant. Look at a LED screen and you will never want to go back.

    The thickness is only decreased on the M1330.
