hello, i received my new dell studio about 2 weeks ago. I love it, but i think there is a problem with my screen or graphics card. when i first started up windows i saw that the screen was fuzzy looking, (like little lines running through the screen.) and i thought it wasn't a big deal, but everyday i keep thinking about it and its getting irritating.

i have a decent graphics card a 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570, but i don't know if i have to change around the settings to get rid of this fuzzy looking screen. i feel that it should look crystal clear looking.

also when i go to scroll down a page or move things around the fuzziness gets worse then when i stop moving the page or w.e it goes back regular fuzziness screen.

can someone help me out! I'm a newbie at computers and really want to solve this problem, is there some kind of setting i have to change?

Can you take a picture of your screen? It might be a driver issue. Try the newest drivers from Dell or use the new modded drivers.

If it's not a driver issue (doubtful, doesn't sound like it to me), it could either be a crappy lcd that Dell used, or the graphics card, but it sounds more like a bad quality screen to me.

it's defiantly not the graphics card because its a 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570. and the screen is a 15.6” High Definition (720p) LED Display with TrueLife™ and Camera/Facial Recognition SW

it defiantly shouldn't be this fuzzy looking, unless something with the graphics card needs to be tweaked.

should i maybe call up dell and see what they say.

Are you running the panel at its native resolution? You should be set for 1366x768.
