I fear i got the dreeded "sparkle" or hatch pattern on my UXGA Truelife screen. It is the LG model and has a great look, but when on a white background the pattern shows up. Will Dell fix this? Does anyone have any experience getting this fixed?

You can't get it fixed, it is part of the screen. You can request a replacement LCD, but there's no better chance of getting one without it the second time. All LCDs that I've seen have it, just some are worse than others.
