    I read people talking about different screens on dell, like LG or samsung or something like that. How can i tell what screen i have?

    Start-->Control Panel--> System-->Hardware-->Device Manager-->Monitor-->Click 1 of the options--> Details-->

    If it says "SEC" or something like that it is a samsung
    If it says LPL it is a LG
    I dont know the others

    There is also a program that you download that will tell you the name and more info

    mine just says default monitor.... am i supposed to install driver for my monitor? and what is the program that tells the name and more info? THX

    Is there a Plug and play monitor in there? If so check that one.
