    Hey,

I purchased a Dell Inspiron 6400 about 4 months ago - it's been running just fine, except for some weird bug with the screensaver. I pick a screensaver (just basic Windows variety) and apply it - a couple of hours later, the screensaver isn't working, and when I check up on it, it says that nothing has been selected. Very annoying. Just wondering if anyone had any idea what could be the cause of this...

    Dell Inspiron 6400
    1 GB SDRAM
    T2400 Duo Core 1.83 GHz
    ATI Radeon x1400 256 Mb
    100 Gb
    Windows XP Home

    Thanks,

Have you formatted yet? I've heard about junkware and certain software causing problems and not allowing the screensaver to work properly.
