So..
Ordered a 1500 on 9/3. ESD today, EDD tomorrow. Thats fine. I had my order changed from Ground to NBD shipping on Dell side. What seems to have occurred is that the change didn't CIF over to DHL, so on DHL's end, I have Ground Shipping, so I have to wait until Friday to receive the unit. Seriously, how much more incompetent can both of these companies be? Why not partner up with REAL carriers such as UPS or FedEx?
I am so pissed. So is the business.

Relax, take it easy.

If you didn't pay for it...well you're not gonna get it.
-
don't worry.... be happy?

oh some bob marley in the house as well... lol

Hey they upgraded me to NBD for free and it does actually show up on DHL's as next day on mine. Unfortunatley, the address that Dell has and the address DHL has are different. So be happy they at least got your addy transfered to DHL correctly.

dhl messed up my address as well, they didn't have the apt #, so i had to go pick it up... and what do u think, dell tag HAD the apt number on it...go figure
-
I had the "free" upgrade to NBD shipping from 3-5 day ground as well. It shipped 3-5day DHL, so I called dell and got a $50 coupon for the mixup. Used that to buy a sleeve and some other items. Call em and tell em that you were expecting it and it disrupted your business...they WILL compensate you.

Ordered 9/3 - September 3rd ESD today, EDD tomorrow - 10th/11th respectively. New EDD, Friday 14.
11 days...of all the delivery woes on the dell forum, 11 days sounds pretty fast. -
They upgraded me to next business day shipping...shipped it out...everything was going well..it was on the truck...and...no one shows up....
i call dhl...they said the driver had an emergency and had to return to the station and stop all deliveries...gee..i've heard that one before..lol...
anyways, luck was on my side. the dhl site was on my way home from work...so.... -
LOL @ calling Fedex a better carrier.
They've delivered my packages to people in Orlando and Massachusetts before, and I live in Iowa. And you better believe this has happened more than once. And when they do happen to get their butt into gear and ship into my city, they ship it to the wrong address.
Screw DELL, screw DHL..
