I've read people mention scrolling using the trackpoint and comparing it to scrolling with the Lenovo trackpoint -

I like the trackpoint on my 830 - its cool that its "clickable" but I haven't figured out how to scroll with it without just reverting to using the touchpad to scroll...

Can someone enlighten me ??

I would like to know this also. I found myself switching between the trackpoint and the touchpad to scroll.

The difference is that the Lenovo trackpoint has a scroll button, you just hold the scroll button and drag the trackpoint (which is probably my favorite feature on my ThinkPad). On the Dell, you can sort of simulate this by configuring the drivers to treat pushing both buttons as a "middle click," but you will still have to click before moving your mouse anywhere else since the middle click scroll stays on while the ThinkPad scroll ends when you release the scroll button on the ThinkPad.
