After having my screen shot with a BB, I'm now trying to find a new one. It left a small dot which isn't a big problem except that it's pretty much in the center of the screen. So I was wondering how I could find what other models of Dells would have the same type of screen as my Latitude D610. I was thinking of trying to find one on eBay that would hopefully be cheap. Also, does anyone know if replacing my screen would void my warranty, even if something went wrong unrelated to the screen and I had to send it in? Thanks.

What i would do is call Dell Spare Parts, and see how much the screen cost from them. You can ask for the part number and search for it on ebay and other online vendors.
Replacing the screen won't void your warranty, but it won't be covered under you warranty either. Depending on where you get it from, you might have a warranty on it.
If your screen causes any problems or if you break something while trying to replace it, then Dell won't cover this. They will still cover your nonrelated problems though.
All of the warranty info is according to dell's website. -
Thank you for the help.
