Is it possible to sell a dell i bought online from dell.com on ebay? Its brand new i didn't receive it yet. I dont need it anymore because my brother wanted something else for his birthday, but i don't want to refund it. Is it possible to sell it on ebay? Would the service tag be affected?

You can sell you Dell on Ebay as it is yours once you buy it. Once it has been sold youll need the new owner info once the payment has been made and the item has been received so that you can submit an ownership transfer form.....Please see the following link for more information:

Yep. I have bought Dell laptops eBay and ownership transfered before. It is certainly a lot simpler when the seller is willing to help you with the transfer however.

Are you sure a refund wouldn't be a better option though? I mean eBay/Paypal are going to eat so many percent of the sale price, and it is unlikely you will be able to sell it for than you payed. I don't what Dell's fees would be but it be less.

Return it to dell. At least you know you will get your money, and you dont have to worry shipping and etc.
