    I've had it with the heat - fan issues and am sending my 6400 back. Going to return it and get something else...

    Maybe an 820?? Not sure.

    May even go Lenovo route...

    Thoughts?

    My 6400 had no issues with heat whatsoever after I took control of the fans, same went for my M1210. What issues were you having? You might have simply gotten a bad unit, that happens with every company, if thats the only issue your having an exchange might be more fruitful in the long run.
