Dell did a system exchange for my XPS M1330. I have already packed it up in the original in the box it came in. I see that on Dell's instructions on returning an item when it's a system exchange I should pack it in the replacement box. Does anyone know if anything would anything happen if I send it back in the box it came in?

You can return it in either box,all they care about is getting the laptop/accessories back.

Yeah, either box should be fine, as long as you have the return waybill on the box that the computer is packaged in they won't care. If you don't have the waybill that came with the replacement machine you need to call tech support and have them send you one.

Guy who picks it up should sign also.

I usually scan it, and email it back to Dell (guy who issued the replacement).
