Sept 27 Estimated Delivery Date

I noticed alot of other EDD out there, but not alot for this one...

just wondering who else is in the same boat as me??

hopefully it ships because this one they skipped from septemer 12 to 27 instead of 19 or 20

 

My EDD is 25th. NOT what the rep said when I ordered (she said 20th! Freakin liar).

She assures me over the phone that it will arrive on or before 21st, but she will not put it in writing (I said if it arrives after that, consider it returned and refund requested).

 

My order (from August 8th) just got pushed back to Sept. 28th...

 

Exactly which galaxy is Dell acquiring these notebook components from.

 

it seems like alot of people are getting thier notebooks finally shipped...
there is a light at the end of the tunnel (crossing my fingers as i type this lol)!

 

mine is close, the esd is the 25th with edd the 26th, however the rep said that we should receive it before then even though they like the other person said it couldn't be in writing or anything. right now its in boxing and has been for 2 days so i'm hoping it will be here next week at least a week before the esd.

I'm hoping mine to arrive next week to. Hmmm must read up on the refund process just in can't accept their late delivery. (Not going to be in the country)

I called CSR earlier...said they'd ring back in 5 minutes. It's been 2 hours.

 

When I called (yesterday) I was told that there was still a shortage of 14 TFT+ screens.

 

Mine is a EDD of the 27th.
CSR told me yesterday my order hasnt even started production yet. I asked them what stage its in. they said they "dont know that information, only when its in simply "in production" and "shipped", thats it"

I wonder what my status REALLY is.

PS - it was a CSR whom i could barely understand, and had PISS poor english/grammar. kept using the word "than" in replace of "that" and vise versa. and the word "he" in replace of the word "the". at least thats what i strung together. So annoying, I wish I could talk to someone who didnt just learn the damn language.

with my esd of the 25th and edd of the 26th, my 1520 was just SHIPPED today! almost a full week ahead and its supposed to get here from the 19th - 21st

i ordered on august 8 and my est ship date has changed from sept 1-->sept 9-->sept 17--> and then i called yesterday and they said i should get it by the 24th but they just got the parts so that means its still i production. I hate dell.

hey you have the same EDD as me, and i ordered on the 26th on august! damn you i even ordered the jet black, but its probably because i ordered the 1440 reso screen.

Normally I wouldn't mind waiting at least a week or two AFTER edd (Amazon/ebay whatnot) but I'm gonna be forked if mine arrives 2 hours past the EDD

mine *was* a 27 EDD. I just called (for the first time), and they are saying its just finishing the "build" stage and should be shipping out in the next 2-3days. She said to bank on more like the 2nd of October for it to arrive. boo!

By the way, when it actually does ship in the next few days, can I track it with a tracking number in "my account" on dell.ca ?

Just noticed that Dell Canada is charging $20 for the IR Travel Remote. Good thing I ordered earlier and got it for free.

My CSR told me mine is coming from Austin Texas (up to Canada). She said thats where its being made. I dunno

Ok.. I just chatted with a Customer Sales Rep... he told me the order has shipped already... (from Texas)... and will arrive within 3-4 days... he also gave me the tracking number.

so Caitlyn... im guessing your's has shipped also... just ask them for the tracking number.

yes, put it doesnt work on the purolator site. it says i have to call or something to get further information.

 

yeah i had to call too... they say since it hasn't arrived in Canada yet.. they can't give any information... once its in canada.. it will update.
