    Service Tag - Which screen is that?

    Hi, I can't identify which brand my screen is. I'm geting this whith my Service Tag F35V82J:

    SUB-ASSEMBLY, LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY, VERTICAL ASSEMBLY, 15.4WX, 6400

    Samsung or LG... or something else?

    Do this instead:


    Start
    Right click my computer
    hit properties
    go in the hardware tab
    hit device manager button
    hit monitors ( 4 of them show ince you hit it)
    hit the plug and play one
    then go to the details tab


    it should say Display\XXXXXXXXX

    XXXXXXXXX is your screen

    Hitting Device Instance Id came:

    DISPLAY\AUO1C74\4&15E83EC0&0&00000400&00&02

    And hitting Hardware Ids came:

    Monitor\AUO1C74

    Does it make any sense?
