    Hello all,
I know this has been brought up before, but I for the life of me can't
find my current service tag so I can see what parts
    are on it?

I bought it through the epp program but that isn't working.
I want to add it to my home office account.
Any suggestions to get it before it comes?
    Thanks in advance.
    j

    Do you have an invoice?
It should be on that, near the bottom.

have you checked the bottom of the laptop?

in case you don't have a sticker on the bottom, goto the Dell website and install the Dell Support Center, it will show you all your system information and it will have your service tag.

EDIT:i've now read your post three times, and i see that you haven't received it yet. sorry, its late.

I don't have an invoice as it's not here yet, however I do have order
status and it's not on there.

The invoice will be available after it ships. When you check the order number, there will be a link for the invoice.

The service tag is at the end of the invoice and sometimes after any other separately shipped items.

Once you get the service tag number, you enter it under systems and peripherals and it will pull up the actual build parts.

I can log into my account and get an invoice online.
There's a link for "invoices" on the page that lists what's on the laptop.
On the invoice, near the bottom, where it says REF/SVT# followed by a number, that number is the Service Tag.

It's still in the boxing stage so I'll probably find the invoice
    when it ships...

I had the same issue when I bought the 1330 via EPP, Dell assigned a separate # from my home account. You need to contact C/S & they can merge the new order into your existing log-on.

You can get the Service Tag from Dell CS, but it won't show up until they ship the machine anyway... Least that's when it showed up for my i1520... Before then it just kept returning "invalid"
