I installed the software, turned the mouse on went into control panel to add a bluetooth device and I set the mouse to discoverable like instructions say, but it does not pick it up at all. Is there something I'm missing![]()

I have a bluetooth mouse also (I'm using a Logitech diNovo Media Desktop Laser) and I've noticed that if you do not use the software that came with the unit, you're fine.
I'm not sure what mouse brand you have but in my case I had installed Logitech's SetPoint software but ran into so many problems afterwords it wasn't even funny. I uninstalled the software, went under my Bluetooth icon and set it there.
When you go under your BT settings, don't turn Discovery on. Instead, go under Devices and click 'Add'. Make sure you select that your device is ready and then click next. There is usually a button or switch that sends out the BT signal. It will take a few seconds or so for your computer to receive it. Once it does, select the device and then click next. You'll have the option of creating a passcode. In your case, select no pass code. It's kind of hard to type a passcode on a mouse..
Hope this helps. -
