Ok I did a fresh install of xp pro in order to get rid of all the junk dell put on there. How do I get the wireless card working again?I have the xp pro reinstallation cd the dell included. I thought the drivers were supposed to download off of this cd. Windows doesn't seem to want to detect the card.

    Hi Mdavis166,
The drivers are located on a separate CD. If you ordered XP Pro disk from Dell, then it should have a 2nd disk with Drivers on it.

If you don't have the drivers disk, you can always download the network driver from Dell's Support website (under Drivers & Downloads). Save the driver to a USB Drive or burn it to a cd, then transfer it to the laptop. You can download the rest from the site once you get your network card working.
