Hi, I live in Canada and I ordered my 700m last week. Currently, dell.ca says it has been shipped and the estimated time of delivery is between may 24th to the 26th. I clicked the link to the purolator tracking thingy and it says"USA Ground Linehaul" or something. Whatever that means...

I called purolator, and the person knew right away it was a dell shipment then she said BAD BAD DELL WEBSITE, how it won't get into canada for at least another week!!!!!! Was that technician smoking something or was dell at fault? Thanks

    Hello,
It does take longer to go to other countries because of inspections and customs. The computers are made in Malaysia, then shipped to the US. From there they are shipped to their relative destinations. I'm not sure of the actually shipping delay.
Hope you enjoy your new system. I've heard its really good.[ :D]

Queshy, I too am in Canada and I was not aware that my purchase would be coming from outside of Canada. I purchased $8000 worth of computer systems and I'm now panicking that I'm going to be hit with brokering fees and GST. Can you tell me if that's what happened to you or did Dell pre-pay them as part of the shipping cost?
