Shipped & Tracking Number Unavailable 3 days later :(

is this normal? my order went into the "shipped" stage on Friday but the tracking data has been unavailable since then. i assume it's b/c it's a weekend? I had heard they don't deliver on weekends but don't they at least move shipments around? thanks in advance

 

It'll stay in the warehouse until a business day . No shipping/postal service works on weekdays.

 

I bought my Asus U6Sg1-A1 on the 23rd of May. On the 27th I had some info on the USPS website and since then I know nothing of my laptop.

 

When my M1530 was shipped the website did not have the tracking number until it was a day away from me. You have to contact customer care to get your tracking number.

 

USPS is the SLOWEST service to update their tracking information, infact they usually deliver the item before tracking is updated!

 

I got it as soon as I purchased the laptop. I agree USPS does not like to tell the customer where the package is .

 

Yeah it's the weekend, there can't be any tracking updates.. So don't worry, wait until tomorrow

wait, does USPS even deliver dell laptops? i thought it was dhl?

 

well my order went to ship last week and got it yesterday.. Didnt get teh confirmation email that it shippped nor a tracking number.. Also no tracking number is up on my account page.. usually the send you the tracking number in a email..

Crum! I got Next Business Day shipping, it says for Tracking: Not Available At This Time, but it has been shipped since 6/1/2008 and is estimated to arrive today. Did your ship by the estimated delivery date?

 

i got it before the est. est for me was 6/3/2008-6/5/2008. one day before and this was ground service. also do you have in your account page .Order shipped email signup. it seems i didnt have that and didnt get the info. that it shipped.. If you look at your My Order Status page see what email notification says under it.. Mine said N/A..

 

I sure hope mine arrives today.

I didnt do the order shipped email signup thing, and the only reason I know it shipped is actually logging into my account. My order status is N/A, but I can view the invoice at the bottom of the order page, though when I look up the service tag under support, it says its an invalid service tag.
