i called and they said it will be in my grubby paws between 8-12... w00tness

 

I have to work until 4am, I hope if I miss the delivery I can just go pick it up.

It's funny because on DHL's tracking it says Est Delivery Date is today 9/5 even though it was shipped ground. I highly doubt it's coming today......

 

mine is with delivery courier, so hopefully not long now.

eesh - I can't wait anymore!!!

Yesterday afternoon my 1520 arrived in Nevada - last night it went south to California to a regional processing hub... and I think right now it's heading back north to Washington. Hopefully it arrives in WA this morning and I get it this afternoon.

I was so excited all night thinking that when I logged on today it would be in my state, it's disappointing to realize that it had to go further away from me before coming to me.

tracking page doesn't tell me the shipping method, weight, or EDD

i hate DHL they suck

That's a good question. DHL probably gave some Dell CEO's season tickets to the Rangers or Cowboys and, thus, a contract was formed

Yup, me too. It's funny because the Ohio hub it's going to is about a 5 hour drive from Nashville and it left last night!! Must be a SLOW truck

 

I called DHL this morning because all fields on my tracking page is blank! And the guy told me that there are some pacgakes from Dell are having problems and it may take one more day to process... I don't understand how can such a simple task be messed up by Dell? Well, I think they are just stupid!

 

FYI. DHL doesn't seem to update their tracking in real time. For example, my package "supposedly" shipped from Dell on 9/2 with a DHL EDD of 9/4. Didn't work out that way, though.

You may want to notice that the package was never listed "Out for Delivery" before it was delivered to my home. It was a fluke that I happened to be home when they delivered.

Anyway, I FINALLY have my Dell now. Unfortunately I have to leave and won't be opening the box until later tonight.

Ok so it was in my town for an hour and then they took it 1 1/2 hours away to Syracuse, NY. On the phone with DHL now, looks like i may have to wait until tomorrow. IDIOTS!!!!

DHL just called me back. Apparently they are having difficulties with the website. My package is out for delivery and I'll have it before 3pm.

 

I ordered my 1420 on 8/23. What kind of screen do/should I have?

 

Mine was delivered at 11:30 this morning while I was asleep. They dropped it off at the apt office without leaving me any notices on my door. Lovely.

Well, after all that I have it. Complete with absolutely terrible headphone jack noise. I knew the hassles wouldn't be over with after I received it.

 

FINALLY!!!! Package just arrived. Now hopefully everything works properly.

it went to the same place in irvine 2 times or something. im suppose to have it yesterday as the estimated date said. i still don't have it. it better come soon =[

irvine is only about 20 minutes from my house. i work across the street from DHL in irvine. annoying.

well, dell is giving me a $100 coupon for my problems, and im getting a replacement.

even though I never had an expierence with DHL reading about it makes me so nervous....who knows.....they could deliver it to the jailhouse here in Jacksonville to some bum who just got out of jail downtown...but seriously this stuff looks serious....I'm surprised they're still in business......I've been using fed ex and ups for my primary shipping I've trust them with my valuables for a long time...but this is the first time I've will deal with DHL.....

 

mine was shipped on the 1st and it's been on 'in transit: the US' for the past 4 days and then out of nowhere it says 'Shipment In Transit' and it's in toronto. looks like i'm getting mine tomorrow

Am freaking fed up with this DhL courier. Is it every time you ship a product by this company that your headache rating rise up to a 100 degree percent or what? It says in transit in Ohio and it last for days. This is getting out of hand and maybe George Bush will step in. Will somebody explain why this packages are stuck in Wimington,Ohio? I need answers!

I live in Idaho and they once again sent it to the wrong place I tore the DHL rep a new one and guess what they said "I am sorry sir but there is nothing i can do" Not to make lite of my personal life but my home burned down last week in the big Boise Idaho fire and DHL is requiring me to wait at my rubble (home) and will let me pick up the package and have to try to deliver and i have see that i am not home WHAT KIND OF BULL IS THAT i told the rep that and the same line "i cant help you" they will not give me any info. I am filling a report with BBB Dell and DHL corporate. All i want is my super expensive laptop because well i have nothing.

I run a eBay business I use fedEx and Ups I shipped over 2000 packages last year i have never EVER had a package go to the wrong STATE let alone 2 TIMES!!!!!!
