I need to vent a little here. Because of the delay on my 1520, I needed to change the shipping address because I'd be in college. A simple issue to resolve right? So I call up dell, who tells me its an easy fix, and bam! Its done. Or so I thought.

Once the box made it to DHL, I checked the tracking number and guess what, it still had the original address. All that was changed was the recipient name had changed from mine to the university I was at.

So I called Dell again, who assured me that once the package arrived at one of DHL's package centers, the computer would be redirected to the new address. But when I checked the tracking number the morning of delivery, I found it had been delivered to the original address. And get this, DHL let the gardener sign for it.

So now I have a 1800 dollar machine sitting out on the front door step of my house. So I called up my sister who lives a half hour away, and she drives over and grabs it, and takes it to work. I called DHL and had them pick up the package there so it could be shipped as soon as possible to the right place.

I checked today and the package arrived in the city, and though it was supposed to be delivered today, it was never put on a truck for delivery. I'm still waiting. GAH!

That's not Dell, that is DHL (formerly Airborne Express). They have a long history of doing that nonsense. I've known them to leave packages at the wrong address out in the rain, a mere 10ft from a well covered porch (yes, porch was open and correct address on package). Though I still would have expected better in how they treat one of their better clients (in this case Dell).
