Shipping items together

When I placed my order for my Lappie (ESD 9/4), I also placed an order for a bag (ESD 10/9)
Will they hold my Lappie hostage until my bag comes in, or ship them out at different times?

 

They already have your bag and they will ship them together once your laptop is ready so you will be getting both of them at the same time.

 

I'm pretty sure they'll deliver your bag separately. I ordered a printer with my 1520 and I got the printer less than a week after I ordered it.

 

my lojack is being shipped at the same time as my 1520. however, my 1520 has next day shipping wheras my lojack has 3-5 shipping (i hadnt paid for next day -- they upped it when i called), so i think ill be getting them at different times..

not necessarily, if you have seperate order numbers yo will get them seperatly. my rep threw in a sleeve and a printer. and so far i have recieved only the printer!.

 

They do have seperate order numbers, and seperate ship dates. I was just worried becuause when I read about how Dell ships, they like to ship everything out at the same time, and my bag is schedules to be shipped one month after the 1420. I just don;t want to wait an extra month fo my notebook if my bag is not ready. I didn't know if I needed to call and tell them that.

 

I had the same situation...I had separate order numbers and shipping dates. My bag was estimated to ship on 8/28, and my laptop 8/17 (this, of course, was after a few other delays in shipping). My bag shipped on the 9th, arrived the 13th. My laptop shipped yesterday and should be here within an hour or so.

I think with the separate order number it's treated as separate items...in other words, one will not wait for the other to be ready. Good luck!

I just got the Brown 1420 laptop (like..just now!!) and I got the matching messenger bag.

On my tracking it says im getting 3 boxes with a total weight of 13 kilos so i guess i'm getting my free printer in one of those boxes (if not the computer comes in parts, so i have to assemble it myself .) Whats in the last one beats me. (it will remain a mystery box untill friday when im actually getting it.)
