    Hey all,

Im thinking about buying a Vostro 1500 from the UK site within the next few days (before 26th, thats when free shipping ends).

Now, my question is. Will I get it before November the 2nd, because thats when I go on Holiday for 2 weeks, and I don't want to be away when it comes.

What would you guys suggest? Would I get it before then? I know I can order it when I come back but it adds £50 onto my order due to shipping.

    Cheers,

The thing is that I recently ordered a 1520 in Germany (I suppose the ones for the UK also come from Limmerick) and the guy on the phone said that Vostros can also take up to 5 weeks to deliver. However I think that if you choose a Vostro with a normal 1280x720 screen and no wlan-n it has a very real chance to ship in october.

There is no wait-time on the 1500s in UK anymore, so if you order today you should have it delivered within the week if your lucky.

So there are not enough chassis for the 1520? Or is it just the lids with some colors?

And what about the screens? The Vostro 1500 and the 1520 use the same, no?
