    Shipping question...

    Hey guys, I ordered my dell laptop (E1520) on 6/28 (Thursday), and the estimated shipping date is 7/18, and I chose 2-day shipping so it says the estimated arrival date is 7/20. I leave for vacation in the morning on 7/20 and would love to have my new laptop with me while I'm on vacation. Is this estimated date usually correct? Should I pay $20 more to get the overnight shipping?!?! (btw, I'm able to still change the shipping type to overnight).

    from what ive heard dell usually ships a good few days before the estimated date.

    Those estimated dates are worthless. Having ordered from Dell numerous times, they miss it 50% of the time, and beat it by 50% of the time.

    If you ordered one of the new models, it's a toss-up...some will get them quickly (from what was on stock for the initial release), others might experience slight delays.
