One question, which Model is this? Looks like it's the Inspiron 8600. That's a pretty nicely tweaked out system you'd have there...and likely expensive! You might want to think about bumping the warranty up to two years if you're going to spend all that money anyway. Also, getting a wireless card that supports 802.11 a/b/g would make this a killer machine.

Buying the USB drive is a waste of money, pick one up from eCost or somewhere else to save a bit. I also see no need for a floppy drive. Unless you want Pro, save $100 and get home. Lastly, I'd get the minimum memory and buy extra from Crucial, which will save a few hundred dollars.
