Should I buy Inspiron 9300 now or wait till Thanksgiving? It's 20% off at the website. But the sale ends on Tuesday... should I wait till thanksgiving.. would they offer something better than 20% off? thanks for replying!

i had this question too... i orderd an i9300 on the 16 of this month just because on the the 17 the %30 off cupon would expire. Id prossibly stick around and look for another %30 off or something. My i9300 with everything came out to around $1,800 and after the cupon it was $1,276.

Ya you probably won't be finding anything much better than the 30%. I think that is a pretty good deal; considoring I get 0% off here in Canada :(.

The prices seem pretty good now, but I have seen them lower.

I don't think the prices are pretty good. But then again, I don't think prices for any notebook available are really that great. Dell will sell their notebooks for as much as they can, and the people will continue to buy because they trust Dell. (And ignore their not so reputable technical service).

Ive heard that Dell is cutting back on the cupon programs, so %30 off is pretty good. You'll be pretty hardpressed to find a better deal. I for one do think that the notebook prices arent that bad, they are actually pretty good, you just have to shop around a little :)

Ive seen $200 off inspiron coupons for dell canada i found it for another member. http://www.getmeadeal.com/stores/dell_canada.htm

There is a dell coupon for $500 off but it has to be at least $1499 so if you add the 6800 and some other things you basically get them free with the $500 off. Remember theres still tax and shipping. Also i dont know about what red is saying not that its wrong just havent heard that, but that
%30 off coupon expires for two weeks then comes back. It did that too me i got all P**t becuz it was expired and it came back two weeks later so did the $500 off.

Ya, i've seen that link before, thanks. $200 off is better than nothing I suppose, but I wish I could get $500 off or 30% off. $1500 + is not a small investment (in my opinion).

I just ordered a 9300 the other day. I investigated this $500 coupon I just saw here. I thought I might call and see if I could get the discount I didn't know about till now. I first did an experiment. I clicked on the coupon link for the 9300 and it brought me to a customize page. I put in the exact options I purchased. Then I logged onto Dell seperately and built another 9300 the exact same way.

Discounted price with coupon link: $2954.00
Discounted price regular Dell website: $2895.00 (with free printer)

These are before taxes, handling, etc.

The other day I paid $2452.00 ($2649.39 after tax, etc.)

All three builds are exactly the same. I built mine online and phoned in the order. I said I was a returning customer during the couse of the phone call gave me another 10% off without me asking. Also, last night I purchased an M140 as well. This time I straight asked for the discount and I got it.

My advice, find the cheapest build and ask for the 10% as well.
