On 1/30, I ordered a Vostro 1500 with a WXSGA+ screen. I received it on 2/6 with a LG screen. I was stoked to get a LG screen on the first attempt. The screen looked great, but it had a stuck (green) pixel. I am a graphic designer and that stuck pixel looked like a softball to my eyes.

I called Dell's Resolution Center and the representative was great. She barely asked any questions and immediately sent me out a replacement system. I just received the replacement system last week and it came with another LG screen!

This screen is flawless and looks great! I can't be happier with this lappy, it has been exceeding my expectations. Great build quality, great speed, great gaming ability with the 8600 and just a great system overall.

I was 2 for 2 with LG screens, is this rare and should I buy a lottery ticket? :p

It seems like from other threads that Dell is more prone to putting the LG WSXGA+ on the Vostro's. Although it may have just been your post I read a while ago. I'm not really sure, but if its from the same assembly line they pull LCDs for the 1530s, then yes go buy a lotto ticket right now! :)
