    1. Since I just graduated highschool and I'm off to college I was thinking of getting a notebook. But because I am livingoff campus I really wanted a small and portable notebook but yet still powerful enough to play games. I was wondering if the dell xps m1210 is a good choice. So far its the only laptop that fits my needs: portable, powerful, full of ports.

    2. are there any kind of coupons or anything for the m1210 because it seems to be a bit costly...

M1210 is exactly what you need. Go for it. I did and am very pleased with my purchase.

it really depends on what games you're playing. the video card will play most older games fine, but with newer games like fear or oblivion it will struggle. maybe, you could post a faq in the what to buy forum to see what else is out there.

depending on your budget, you might want to check out the asus a8jm/w3j. Slightly bigger, but with better gaming performance (go7600/x1600 vs. go 7400)
