I placed the order and found out after the fact that I don't qualify for W7 because it's Vista Basic. So, what should I do peeps, cancel, refuse shipment or ask dell to send a W7 Premium disk or a $50-75 compensation so I can buy W7 Upgrade at Office Depot for $119. Or, do you have any other ideas?

Thanks fellas I tried cancelling it online and couldn't because it states that you can't once an order is in production. I called Dell and the CS said that the Business dept is closed and call back Monday.
I'm willing to keep it at that price if Dell just ships me a Windows 7 Premium disc. -

Just in case you weren't aware of this and you are a student with a .edu email, you can get an upgrade for under $30.00.

I'm hoping either Dell ponies up some doe towards the purchase of W7 or they'll give me a free copy of W7. The laptop has a decent hardware package for $569. -
You'll probably have to cancel and re-order. I doubt Dell will give you what is essentially an upgrade to Vista Home Premium for free.
But if you succeed, post back and tell us how you did it -

Well I didn't succeed and they told me to refuse the package. I may keep it anyways because it's loaded for $569 and i'm curious to see how an LED screen looks. I've read they look real sweet.
I can always call for an RMA if I don't like it.
Should I cancel or ask Dell for W7?
