    Should I change this order?

    well i order an e1705 with 1gb (2 x 512mb) ram 533hz.. should i change the order to 512 mb (2 x 256) to save $100?

    if i change to 512mb, so i save $100 to buy 1gb ram from newegg for about $90, so i save $10 and will have 1.25gb + 1 spare 256mb to ebay for about $30

    if i dont change (keep the order the same 1gb (2x512)) i will have 1gb to use right after open the box, and later if i want to upgrade i can sale 512mb ... i guess now more ppl buy 512 rather than 256

    any suggestion?

    if your order hasnt entered production yet then yes i would change it. If its in Kitting, you would have to cancel your order and reorder.

    Then, buy RAM from newegg, and i believe you can get a cheaper price than that.

    thanks nick... its in production mode, actually boxing. as i checked newegg the cheapest 1gb is 83.99 but out of stock (i guess all sold to dell owner :D) ... the others are about ~93..so i think its not that much...thats why still thinking thinking arhhhh hate you dell make me think :(
