I use 6400 for Programming, word, power point and somtime movie.

    Should I choose WXGA (1280 x 800) or WXGA+ (1440 x 900)???
Do you think font size is very small with WXGA+ ?????

And panel LCD of 6400 is Samsung or AU Optronics ?????

I would at least get the WXGA+. I have SXGA+ (1400x1050) and anything lower is way too big.

    What size screen?

    15" WXGA is fine
17" WXGA+ is plenty of comfortable resolution

That's a personal preference, the poll will not help you to make the right decision for you nor will people's opinions do so.

Check the resolutions out in person.

For a 15.4" Screen I think WXGA+ is perfect... A WXGA is a little low resolution... And a WUXGA is way to high a resolution for most people on a 15.4" screen...

highest resolution you can get, it seems small at first but you get used to it. The extra screen real estate is always worth it

I have the 14.1" 640m with WXGA+ and it's fine.. the text could be slightly (and I mean maybe a millimeter) bigger, but I'm definitely happy with the screen. On a 15.4" wxga+ would be perfect.

Remember, if you think it's too small, you can change the resolution in the settings or you could get one of these

I would go for the WXGA+ screen - the difference in text size is very small, but with more viewing space than a WXGA panel, a definite plus.
