    Should I drain the battery before storing it?

    With battery prices so high right now, I've decided to pack away my laptop battery to preserve its life. Before storing it away, should I drain the battery, or just leave as is now (fully charged)?

    No don't drain it because you will damage the battery. It should be stored at about half charge. I would take it out every so often and charge it up a bit.
