So my laptop was shipped today through DHL. I've heard from a large number of people that their experiences with DHL were all but good. So, now I'm asking the rest of you. Have you experienced any shipping problems with DHL? Mishandled packages? Claims of (false) attempted deliveries?

edit- I actually meant to post this in the other subforum but don't see an option to move my own thread or delete it.. so sorry in advance to the mods.

I think it really depends on the location of delivery and the person delivering the package. e.g. the DHL guy that delivers to my home is horrible and does claim false delivery attempts, but the DHL for my office has been great and I never had an issue.

The only issue I had with mine was that I was not notified I had to be home to accept it, typically UPS and FedEX just drop the package off. I was told somebody had to be here via a phone call from the delivery person who was driving down the road to my house! Luckily I was home working so it was not an issue.

Also there seems to be no tracking of packages.

My delivery was fine with DHL...I just wasn't home, and had to pick it up at the Depot in the evening after work ;) :)

I was glad that they didn't leave it! ;) :) So, all was good!
