You can see my current order in my sig. I need to add some features to that so it will be 1299.99 so I will be able to take $300 off. There seem to have been problems with the high resolution screens. If you guys don't think I should add a better screen, what are some upgrades you would suggest?

In terms of the screen, my toshiba satellite notebook has the same size and resolution as the one you currently have on order. Its not really that bad and you dont have to squint at the words on the screen to see them. That happens all too well on my Macbook Pro and it hurts my eyes.

For general use and some moderate gaming, that screen will be fine. If you like having a couple windows open side by side for viewing at the same time, maybe the higher resolution screen would be better. It really depends on what your needs are.

You have a pretty tricked out system...only thing I can suggest is...a carrying case or something?? lol. What you have is pretty much the best bang for your buck these days.

Ya, there's lots of threads here talking about graininess.

How about upgrading your warranty? In fact, drop the 2gb (if you can) get complete care and get more mem from newegg.

I had a 14 inch thinkpad 4:3 at SXGA+ and i wish it was UXGA. I dont have a problem reading hte screen. It's a matter of preference.

The more you can do, the more you should do.

Larger resolution means smoother text and smoother images.

If I call them tomorrow, would I be able to edit my order? I would probably the the dvd burner + better processor to get it up to 1299. Has anyone ever added a coupon to an order 3 days after they placed it. I kind of want to avoid delaying my ship date by canceling my order. If only I saw that coupon before I ordered it......................
