I get this setup for CAD$1248 without taxes and CAD$1422 with taxes or i can use integrated sound card instead of Sound Blaster® Audigy™ HD Software Edition(30 dollars more) and spend CAD$1218 without taxes and CAD$1388 with taxes for the same system. (Which should i go for?)

Is this a good price? Considering that this is dell canada and they dont give good discounts like dell.com

and should i wait for next month? since it's back to school sales and stuff =\

I think the general rule in this forum is dont get something until you desperately need it as you might end up getting something which if you'd have waited a few weeks could have got better... as you're in canada have a look at www.milestonepc.com / www.canadasys.com (same company) they have a good reputation on the boards and for just over 80$ more you can kit out a S96j with an X1600 and 1 gig of ram on one dimm :)

same here, but then if you look at the dell with taxes then its 1422 theres $80 give or take a few $ for the better graphics card etc... and 110$ more without the HD audio..... have a look at the asus forum, the S96j is held in a very very high reguard... :)

if you find what you want at a fair price that you can afford, get it, there will always be a better deal, you could play the waiting game forever, the only reason I would wait now for a dell would be if I had to have 64 bit support,
