What you guys think? I got a lot of programs on new Dell 7577, like Waves MaxxAudio Pro, McAfee, SmartByte and a lot of other stuff from Dell.

For me, I always clean install Windows, then installed the latest bios & drivers that's only needed directly from the manufacturer's website.
Drivers like audio, graphics, keyboard, LAN, WLAN, Bluetooth, trackpad are mandatory.
Apps (bloat) like antivirus, cleaner, etc are disposable.

definitely. I installed windows yesterday and it took me less then 10 mins. If you have fast usb and ssd your golden.
All you need to do before install is get your network card drivers and put it on same usb. After windows install is done just install your network card and once you have internet windows automatically install all the other drivers.christinalevinee likes this. -
May I suggest checking out the two Dell 7577 threads for lots of helpful info specific to your model:

But to answer your question, yes definitely everyone recommends a clean install. -
I always do, plus never install bloat like Killer SmartByte and Dell branded stuff as well, I always get WiFi, LAN and graphics drivers directly from component manufacturers (ie Realtek, Intel, nVidia) sometimes I do that for Audio as well. System vendors are usually behind component manufacturers on updates because they need to validate the new drivers to ensure no new issues/compatability problems were introduced and it can be time consuming so system vendors don't often update drivers and sometimes stop after a few updates to focus on new laptop models. Also if your laptop is in RaidOn mode sitch it to AHCI in bios as Intel RST drivers at least in laptiops I owned previously caused DPC latency issues. The stock MS AHCI/nVME drivers are better in my experience.
Should i make clean windows install after buy new Dell laptop?
