    does anyone know what dell might be offering. i know there is the 325 off 1299 coupon but the system is costing 225 more than what it did yesterday and i was wondering if anyone knows what dell might be offering or at least when? TIA

    no one will know till next week unless they release new coupons this week..

    after being on the phone for nearly 2 hours with them today i got the same response from all 4 reps i spoke with now that the back to school rush is over they are less likely to dish out big coupons and cheaper prices.. they all had that that to tell me.. take it for what its worth from a dell csr .. if thats anything

    I am thinking of buying within a few months (I still don't need it.)
    But these laptops are not worth without the free ram and HD upgrades. They're gonna have to increase the coupon code to 450/500, or bring the freebies back.

    try this:

    If you really want to buy it now, call them and tell them that you were browsing yesterday and were planning on buying today or soon later but the upgrade disappeared. HOpefully they can help you get the upgrade since its so soon after
