    How long do you think the six cell batteries last for the inspiron 1420's? Im planning to bring it to a few classes and only using it for simple processes like web browse and word

    6-cell on my 1520 with 8600gt lasted about 2.5 hours with light usage. You can probably squeeze 3 hours out of the 1420 6-cell.

    m6 1530 on power saver with web connectivity lasts about 3 hours.
