What size are the audio jacks on the M1330? 3.5mm or 2.5mm?

If I wanted to link up my M1330 to a Sharp Aquos and Logitech Z-5500's, the best way would be HDMI the video to the TV and a 3.5mm M/M to the Z-5500's?

Hrm... But I don't suppose the 3.5mm would be capable of carrying Dolby Digital signal though? Is the HDMI port on the M1330 video only or does it also run the audio?

Well the 1330 is capable of transmitting 5.1 across three of the front audio jacks (not digital but analog). You use the microphone jack as one, and just tell the sound pannel to use it in this way. Honestly, the best way would be to get a sound card and use an optical out. Else, you could use the sound through the HDMI and optical out from the tv to the speakers.

Oh, there's an idea. I just checked the specs for my TV and you're right, there's an Optical output. So I guess all I'd need is an HDMI cable and a Toslink to go from the TV to the speakers.

Would the HDMI also work for things like if I was playing games or listening to MP3s? Or is it strictly for when watching DVDs?
