    Dell Studio 1747 laptop.
I've been trying to get suspend to work in Mint Linux (basically Ubuntu). It works fine in Windows 7. I did a search and couldn't find anything. I realize a lot more info is needed, but just thought I'd see if anyone else has solved this Linux sleep problem.
(edit) Actually the laptop sleeps, but only partially wakes up; fan going icon lights above keyboard; just no screen or keyboard.
