Hi all... Quick question. Been trying to find a neoprene (or similar) sleeve that will hold the Studio 1537 (15.4") with extended battery attached. My aunt has the same laptop as I, and I have her name in our family drawing for Xmas... and she's wanting a nice sleeve. She already has a laptop bag, she just wants something smaller for a quick "up and go" where she doesn't need her accessories, charger, etc. I've looked at a few and I think they'd be close -- it's just that the extended battery makes the back end awful thick, which worries me.

Soooo I was wondering if anyone has actually purchased or used a sleeve with their Studio 15 with the extended battery, and if so which brand/model.

    Thanks in advance...

In my experience, any sleeve that can accommodate the 1535/1537 on its own can usually give an extra half inch for the battery, especially the neoprene types, which are ever so slightly stretchy.

Also, welcome back. I haven't seen you around lately. ;)

Thanks, Shroom. I have my eye on two Swiss Gear sleeves at Best Buy... I guess I'm just going to have to purchase them and see what fits, and take back whatever doesn't ;) heh. Least I can test it on my laptop since we have the same machine, before gifting it. :p

Yeah I haven't been around much, not a lot to report on the laptop front since I was able to get Dell to replace my battery, all has been smooth.

Sorry to hear about your 1555 ;(
