So I am messing around with my setting and all and trying to get my boot time lower.
I currently have Explorer.exe boot up in 21.78 seconds. I used to have this as low as 18.43 seconds. I am wondering how I could possibly get this lower.
Like when I use regscrubXP to lean my registry my boot time jumps up to 34.6 seconds. All it is doing is cleaning up the reg about missing values, keys with no values, and so forth.
I have min fonts loading, only major programs starting up like virus scans, firewalls, and so forth. I also have min services starting up automatically. Was wondering if anyone has any idea what is going on. I would think cleaning up the registry would maybe hasten the boot up time by like a sec or two.
Programs I use are
Microsoft's BootVis (optimize/tracing)
Regscrubxp
Perfect Disk on perfect disk managing the log files.
Thanks for any help
