    Hi,

I'm a newbie here (as you can probably tell from my post count).

I thought this was probably the best place to find out about snap on cover compatibility. I've had no luck on the internet.

I recently ordered a Dell Inspiron 6400 without any snap on covers and was wondering if any other other covers would work this this.

For some reason I cringe whenever I say that I just got one....probably because everyone I know that has/had a dell inspiron would complain about the constant problems. I hope mine turns out ok :D

Oh, and if anyone with a spare cover is reading this and wants to sell it, I'm in the UK ;)

Thanks for the replies, but the main point I wanted to get at was to ask if the inspiron 6400 snap on covers are the same as any other models.

Unless I'm mistaken, 1505 and 6000 snap ons are compatible.

    Oh, I see.

    Thanks.

Does anyone know if the 6000 and 6400 chassis are the same?
