Ill make this quick. I originally ordered a M11x.... Two days later I found that for 500 dollars more I could get the M15x and be somewhat future proof (and play FFXIV on high-very high).

SO, naturally I reordered a M15x and my sales rep said that they would cancel my M11x within 2 days....

2 Days later, still no "confirmation" email so I decided to call tomorrow. So I called, BOOM, their closed sundays (their support sucks they don't deserve days off) so I thought I'd call today. HOWEVER I got an email for my M11x order stating that its now shipping

Seriously Dell? You shipped my "what was supposed to be canceled" laptop? Now I'm going to get 2 and have to pay to ship one back?

So what I'd like to know is... If I call dell and alert them of their mistake can they somehow simply return it and refund my money without me coming in contact with the laptop?

    Thanks!

Just call your Rep and ask for a Way Bill to ship it back. He can email it to you. That way you don't open it or anthing, just slap the sticker on and call up UPS problem gone.

The order cancellation did not go through faster than it was built & shipped. It happens. It is not their fault you changed your mind after you ordered it, but they will have to take the financial hit for shipping a new system, then have to resell it as "previously ordered new" through their outlet & you are mad at them?

This website has nothing official to do with Dell, but the answer is simple. Just refuse to accept the delivery of the M11x & then call them again during business hours to get it straightened out.

    Good luck.

refusing delivery is a bad choice as in almost all cases, it does not change a thing. I suggest contact Order Support ASAP.

Moving this to the Dell Customer Issues sub forum.

you wont be charged to ship it back, they will email you a prepaid UPS return label which you just print out and tape to the box, they will also give you a number , write it on the box with a permanent marker in big bold font

then just take it to a local ups facility

should take about 3 - 5 days after shipping it out

note: you must ship it out within 5 days of calling them to get the return slip
